Bypass detection needs to be enabled for each category separately. This is enabled under Administration > Access Control.

The way bypass detection works is by detecting machine activity (traction through the traction inputs) without an operator logged in.

An alert on the operator screen shows "Bypass Detected" and beeps periodically.

Utilisation is still recorded, the operator that the utilisation is recorded under is "Bypass".

Web portal users can sign up for email alerts, these are sent when a bypass event is detected.

Users can also view bypass activity under Reporting > Global Reporting, Custom Reports and Email Reports.

Use of the bypass key will generate a bypass event so long as the Smartrack device is still functioning, plugged in and has traction wiring connected and configured correctly.
